The auto-publish feature for documents created through Salesforce and Octiv saves time by enabling reps to select a template, build, and publish a proposal with one click.

A system administrator enables auto-publish by following these steps:

  1. From your Administration view, click Integrations.
  2. Choose Salesforce.
  3. Scroll down to Template Mapping. The auto-publish option is located under Option 3 – Template.
  4. Select auto-publish.

Turning on this feature means that after you launch a proposal from an opportunity, you will receive a published document that cannot be edited. You land on the published document screen with a URL that’s ready to go to your client.
