TinderBox CEO Earns Top Honor for Visionary Leadership
Accolade Recognizes Success in Building Market-Leading Tech Company
INDIANAPOLIS (Nov. 5, 2015) — TinderBox, a leader in sales productivity technologies, announced today that its cofounder and chief executive officer Dustin Sapp is Indiana’s first Dynamic Leader of the Year honoree.
Presented by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, the inaugural Indiana Vision 2025 Dynamic Leader of the Year Award recognizes Sapp’s contributions to the state’s thriving high-tech economy.
“TinderBox has emerged as a market leading technology thanks to the hard work of our team, the trust of our fantastic customers and the incredible support of this tech community,” said Sapp. “It’s an honor to represent the TinderBox team and the broader Indiana high-growth tech community.”
Sapp, who has served as the company’s chief executive since its founding, is a three-time founding CEO, having successfully launched three Indiana-based technology companies in the past two decades.
“Indiana has become the home for many high-tech, high-growth companies, and there is no one better to represent the industry and the next generation of our economy than Dustin,” said Kevin Brinegar, president of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. “As our first Indiana Vision 2025 Dynamic Leader Award recipient, we look forward to many great things from Dustin and our thriving tech community in the years to come.”
TinderBox has emerged as a leader in sales technology. The company’s sales proposal product was the highest rated in the most recent G2 Crowd Grid report. Following the launch of its new contract management product with DocuSign, TinderBox was named a 2015 finalist in DocuSign’s partner of the year awards. Its new online presentation product, TinderBox Pitch, was the fastest growing product in the company’s suite of sales productivity products in the first half of the year.
Sapp’s recognition comes as the company has posted a historic year, including:
- raising $7 million in venture capital to fuel product innovation and growth;
- expanding its product suite with technologies for online presentations and contract management;
- launching a strategic partnership with DocuSign to deliver an integrated solution that brings DocuSign’s Digital Transaction Management capabilities to TinderBox;
- posting the highest rating in customer satisfaction, product direction and integrations in the latest G2 Crowd evaluation of sales proposal technology; and
- earning the title of Indiana’s Emerging Tech Company of the Year by Indiana technology trade association TechPoint.
The news of Sapp’s award follows the announcement of TinderBox Insights, the company’s new visual reporting solution. The innovation provides an online canvas to drag and drop any sales criterion such as contract value, geography, time or salesperson to discover insights about the sales process, buyer’s journey and performance of TinderBox-powered online documents.
