We work with some of the best people around, and we want you all to know them, too! That’s why we created Meet Octiv–a series to help connect our team with prospects, customers, and the tech community!
This week, Techpoint announced its Class of 2017 Tech 25 winners, and our very own Kelsey Briggs was awarded in the marketing and sales category! Kelsey is our engagement manager and all-around rockstar, and we wanted to take a moment to introduce her here in recognition of this award, and all of her hard work for Octiv!
Tell us a little bit about your role at Octiv and what you do as the engagement manager:
Here at Octiv, my main objective is to help our customers find success by driving adoption of the Octiv platform. As an engagement manager, I get to work with strategic customers to position, scope and oversee delivery of specific services that accelerate the deployment and adoption of Octiv. I also get to work with my Octiv colleagues in every department to continually improve customer experiences–my job is pretty awesome!
What are you working on right now that you’re most excited about?
I’m always most excited about working directly with our customers and having a meaningful impact on their experience with Octiv. Right now I’m working on an exciting project that leverages clients’ platform data to provide user and customer insights that can impact how organizations sell.
What does the Tech25 nomination mean to you?
I’m so honored to be recognized in TechPoint’s Tech 25 class alongside so many talented individuals! I’ve been in this Indy tech game with Octiv for three years now and could not be more excited to represent our team and the work we are doing.
Why do you enjoy working in tech?
I love the Indianapolis tech community, and Octiv specifically, because I thrive in fast-paced environments. I get the chance to wear so many different hats and work with such a passionate team. The work I get to participate in allows me to directly impact our business, and I really enjoy knowing I am helping contribute to our fast growth.
What are you passionate about outside of work?
I enjoy spending time outside with a cold drink, dance fitness classes with a good beat, moderately-difficult bar trivia nights, traveling to new places with my favorite people and exploring Indianapolis (shout out to my favorite neighborhood, Broad Ripple!) with my husband and chocolate lab, Paxton.
